Transmission Error is built on the tension between intense red and fragmented black markings. Signs, numbers and broken structures resemble a message that lost its original meaning in transmission. The work refers to a contemporary world of information overload, where conveying a message does not always mean reaching an understanding. Strong contrast and a restrained form give the work a distinctive contemporary character, while leaving room for the viewer’s own interpretation.
