Repeating dots, halftones and deformed structures create an intense rhythm resembling a signal recording or a fragment of a mechanically reproduced image. A strong division between the orange upper area and cool blue and navy below creates two distinct states within one composition. Individual signs, shifts and the word HIGH evoke a code, a measurement or a message torn from a larger system. High Frequency can be read as an image of overload: a moment when rhythm, information and stimuli become so intense that they begin to create a new order.
